Inorder to make Industry Internships available to the Student Community , Science & Technology Entreprenuers Park ( STEP ) of National Institute of Technology , Surathkal , Karnataka has partnered with IEEE SB and its Industry Associates to provide One Month Industry Internships to students with the intention to Leverage Learning and sharing of resources and industry advancements across virtual programs for quick adaptation.
To make the Virtual Industry Internship more effective , we've redefined – and in many ways, broadened – what it means to be an Internship program. This STEP – NITK – IEEE Internship Program is designed to be a perfect mix of basic training,tasks & assignments, proctored exams, coding skills and developing more consistent practices to get best suited to the Industrial standards and capability.

Acquire the caliber to design and simulate simple to complex electrical , thermal and hybrid components and efficiently deploy them into your project assignments and tasks.Prepare Models, Configure & Run Simulations , Analyse , Test and Debug them for optimization. Learn and deploy them into realtime as intern with the assistance of the mentor

Proceed to develop customized applications using embedded tools and techniques , design & develop embedded applications ,Handle and develop projects individually during all the phases.
